That’s £20 more per household than it costs to provide the service according to council figures.

Sign the Lib Dem petition against the Conservatives' £60 garden waste charge.

Rahim is standing to be our new parish councillor to ensure local people’s voices are heard on this and other issues.

Voting for Rahim will send a strong message to the Conservatives that it is time for a change.

Your views matter

Local residents say they are tired of being taken for granted by the Conservatives.

The parish council has spent too much time on internal issues rather than getting on with the job of representing local people and delivering local services.

Rahim listens to local peoples and takes up local issues.

Local campaigner

He went to school here, grew up in the area and still lives locally, working as a software consultant. For many yearsis family ran a post office in Loughton.

He knows and cares for Buckhurst Hill.

“I love walking and running in the Roding Valley and in Epping Forest with my family,” he said. “We are lucky to live so close to London and so near to the countryside. But I’ve been saddened to see increasing numbers of boarded up shops in Queen’s Lane and the neglect of local roads and pavements by the Conservative-run county council.”
