Making Epping Forest District More Green - electric vehicles

18 Apr 2016
This morning South Lakes MP Tim Farron has welcomed a grant funding of £562,500 to create a county-wide electric vehicle infrastructure.

Would you like an electric vehicle but don't have anywhere to charge it? Janet Whitehouse, Liberal Democrat district councillor for Epping Hemnall, has asked Epping Forest district council to look into ways to provide on-street charge points and to bring forward a strategy to promote the use of electric vehicles in the district. An officer working group is investigating this and proposals will come to the Neighbourhood and Community Select Committee.

If you have an electric vehicle please let Janet know where you charge it, and any issues you would like to be considered. Contact her at cllrjanetwhitehouse@gmail.com.
