Your local Lib Dem Focus Team is campaigning for a path along Brook Road.

Cllrs Ann Haigh, Jill Sutcliffe, Angela Cass and Joyce Darby are pressing for a pavement to be provided along Brook Road. They have put in a high priority request to Essex County Council Highways to take action on this.

The Corporation of London, who administer the land on which the path needs to be built, has agreed in principle. Liberal Democrat councillors will press Essex County Council and Epping Forest District Council to finance the work.

The Waltham Forest end of Brook Road already has a pavement but it stops at the border with Buckhurst Hill. `Our residents need the safety of a pavement to join up with the existing one,` says Ann.
