Conservatives in Chigwell Row are at odds with one another over the ill-fated pothole policy, meaning larger potholes for longer.

Locally the conservative county councillors have supportive this new policy. But, in a recent leaflet the Conservatives have said "...local parish councillors [Conservatives] have not endorsed this particular policy."

Lib Dem parliamentary campaigner Councillor Ann Haigh said: "Whilst the Conservative are bickering over this new policy, many of the roads in Epping Forest continue to deteriorate. What we need is action."
