New Faces Set to Represent Residents on Epping Forest Council

Alion Lion working for Grange Hill ward all year round

Across the Epping Forest District many hardworking Lib Dems are stepping down. In their place many other talented Lib Dems are campaigning to continue their hard work.

Fergus Maclaine [Grange Hill] said "It has been a privilege to serve the residents of Grange Hill. Alan Lion [Elected unopposed to Chigwell Parish Council last month] has been working with me and Gavin Stollar for the past four years and has demonstrated his unstinting commitment to the community.

"I can thing of no better person to carry on the work I have been doing since first being elected in May 2002."

Parish Councillor Carol Taylor is seeking election to represent residents on the District Council

After 10 years of public service, Councillor Len Martin [Buckhurst Hill East] and popular Lib Dem Michael Heavens [Buckhurst Hill West] are retiring from Epping Forest District Council.

Michael Heavens, former Lib Dem Group Leader and Leader of the Council said "I think that the Tories are very close to taking control of the council. If you want to maintain sensible, reasonable and responsive government, you vote for the Liberal Democrats is essential.

Please vote for Peter Spencer, Ann Haigh and Carol Taylor. I am sure that they will serve you well.

Elsewhere in the District popular Lib Dem councillor Janet Whitehouse is seeking re-election in Epping Hemnall, Former Lib Dem Councillor Phil Chadburn is campaigning to represent Waltham Abbey Paternoster ward.

Waltham Abbey District councillor Pat Brooks is campaigning with Peggy Ayes to represent residents on the town council.
